After completing a Bachelor of Education majoring in English, Remedial Education and Speech and Drama Wendy enjoyed two fulfilling years teaching at Glenanda Primary School.
The quest for additional challenge lead to joining IBM South Africa in 1981 which marked the start of a 32 year career and a variety of roles both locally and internationally.
1. Local roles included business operations and education, culminating in being a member of the senior leadership team.
2. International roles included systems deployment in Italy, a four year assignment establishing shared service centres in Slovakia and ultimately the pleasure of identifying and training the global leaders of tomorrow.
Her passion for the arts led her to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts part time while working for IBM and now to the property sector with architecture being a prominent art form using her extensive business experience.
Wendy is community minded and intently supports those in need, working with feeding schemes and mentoring entrepreneurs and small businesses.
